PRELIMINARY TESTS

For my preliminary tests, I spent most of my time following the tutorial of John Kunz: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=O-bGjioVq30&t=110s

He teaches a technique for destruction of a character made of grains using vellum, and using the vellum pintoanimation attribute.

The basic technique being employed here is using a point deform to have the grain source follow the animation. Then giving the points the stopped, and pintoanimation attributes, and animating the attributes based on the bounding box. Then the attributes are transferred to the dop solver by using a sop solve.

From here I plan to use a similar method to what I used in the Talentee gelato commercial, and run the simulation in reverse to give the illusion of the sand grains being formed together
